Three students win awards

Worth’s Model United Nations Society has enjoyed a hugely successful year and we were delighted to see three students collect individual awards at the latest MUN Conference at Lingfield College last Saturday.

Students from all year groups represented Worth superbly at the event, with the highlights being one student winning the Distinguished Delegate Award for his committee, one claiming the Highly Commended award and one Commended.

MUN conferences are a simulation of the United Nations for pupils in schools and higher education. They provide a great opportunity to develop research skills and public speaking abilities.

Worth will be hosting its first ever MUN Conference on Saturday 31 January when seven visiting schools will be involved alongside our own students.
