At Worth School, in keeping with our inclusive pupil intake and Benedictine Catholic ethos, Value Added scores are celebrated as much as absolute grades. Value-Add measures the extent to which pupils exceed the grades predicted for them by baseline assessment data. Most GCSE grades in 2026 reflect a Value-Add of more than one complete grade, with a whole-cohort average of +0.92 grades. Eighteen pupils achieved a remarkable average Value-Add score of more than two complete grades across all their GCSE subjects.
