Millie earns county selection
Wed, Oct 9th, 2024
Congratulations to Year 8 cricketer Millie Rainbow who has been selected for the girls’ Kent Cricket U13 South Region squad.
Millie went to the first round of trials in mid-September where there were girls from all over the county trialling. They took part in different activities including batting, bowling and fielding. Millie was then lucky enough to be selected for the final round of trials where they again demonstrated their skills in the different disciplines of the game.
Following that, Millie was absolutely delighted to receive notice that she had been selected for the regional squad. Training starts in November and she cannot wait to get started.
Well done Millie, we are proud of your achievement.
Worth is proud of its cricket provision for boys and girls. In 2023, the School was named in The Cricketer magazine’s Top 100 Cricket Schools for a sixth year in succession.
