Schola Cantorum ties and Music Colours ties were presented to Year 13 students in assembly this week to recognise their contribution to music at Worth during their time at the School.
Music Colours ties are awarded primarily for commitment and contribution to the School’s instrumental ensembles such as the Orchestra and Concert Band. Meanwhile, Schola Cantorum ties are awarded primarily for commitment and contribution to choral singing, through sustained regular service in the Schola Cantorum and other choirs.
Director of Music, Mr Lewis Brito-Babapulle, said: “All the students awarded ties have been role models in their commitment to music making at Worth.”
Congratulations to the recipients. Here are some pictures of a few of the recipients. A second set of Music ties will be presented later in the academic year.
