Maths students shine

Well done to two students who achieved exceptional results in the annual UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge which promotes mathematical talent and problem-solving skills.

Worth had 31 students across Years 7, 8 and 9 achieve Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates but two students in Years 10 and 11 did so well that they have qualified for the next stage which is the Pink Kangaroo competition.

Both these competitions ask students to answer a series of multiple-choice mathematical questions beyond the regular curriculum which test their logic and problem-solving skills.

Well done to all students who took part.
