Academic awards were made at the end of term to our Middle School learning prefects, as well as pupils who did well in their recent off-timetable assessments and mock examinations.
For many years now, Worth has had Year 13 academic prefects whose role it is to provide support and guidance in all aspects of academic life, to mentor younger pupils in their specialists areas, to feed back to the academic leadership team with comments and suggestions about how teaching and learning can further develop, and generally to give pupils a voice.
In the 2024-25, the School introduced Middle School learning prefects in Years 9 and 10 to increase pupil representation and provide another way for pupils to have their say.
In the final assembly of the Autumn Term, presentations were made to this year’s Middle School learning prefects. Awards were also given to pupils for success in their recent off-timetable assessments and to Year 11 pupils who collected either Distinction, Honours or Progress and Merit certificates for their performance in recent mock examinations.
Well done to all pupils who received awards. Here are just a few pictures from the presentations.
Worth encourages all pupils to strive for academic achievement and we believe it is important to reward those who have reached their goals and beyond.
