Silver awards for students

Thu, Jan 8th, 2026

Worth is proud to deliver a thriving Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme and it was lovely to see a large number of students receive Silver Award certificates at the end of the Autumn Term.

The School offers the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold level, and we have the highest achievement rate among independent schools in the South East region.

At the final assembly of last term, departing Head Master Mr Stuart McPherson presented certificates to those who had completed their Silver Award. Meanwhile, Bronze Award certificates were handed out in House and acknowledged in assembly.

Later this term students will be taking part in their Gold Award Practice Expedition on Dartmoor from 26-30 March, while the Silver Award Practice Expedition takes place on Ashdown Forest from 20-22 March.

Well done to all those who received certificates at the end of the Autumn Term.
