Students were welcomed back to Worth this week with a values-centred programme of activities which we call ‘Worth Week’.
Unlike other schools that go straight into academic lessons, Worth takes a different approach which allows students to ease back into the new school year, as well as making new friends and renewing old friendships.
Introduced in 2018, Worth Week also reinforces our school values of community, humility, service, silence, stewardship and worship, and explains how those values can be lived out in our everyday lives at the School.
The two-day Worth Week welcome back programme included tutor group walks and picnics, retreats, community breakfasts in the refectory, games and multi sports sessions. Students then began academic lessons today.
Our first two pictures show some of our new Year 7 pupils preparing to go on a tutor walk and picnic.
